With the departure of DewsSox79, it's time for us to get active and stay active in this thread to keep it lively. Dews was one of the best Sox posters on the board. It'll be hard to fill his shoes, but we can keep the Sox chats alive. Let's do it.

It has been a blast being here with you guys, even with an underachieving team with a bad manager, I still enjoyed my time. You all have been great and easy to chat with. I have nothing bad to say about the site or anyone here on CCS. i hope you guys stay active and keep posting, i dont want to check in a week from now and see it a grave yard.

to any of you sox fans i offended in the past, im sorry. and yes bigp you are still a homer just messing with ya.

If you need something stickied and you see a mod or admin on, PM them.

If there is any descent articles on the sox in the media or rumors make sure you make a thread, it will get some attention.

ps- I didnt get banned or demoted if that is the current rumor.

I thought about it. just need to get away from message boards. my problem is i forget that there are some kids on here and the shit they post I probably would be doing if i was there age. As bad as PSD was, we were in our own little world in the hawks forum, and we only talked sports in those threads, i miss threads like those.

I will say....publicly that you welcomed me when I initially started to post here, and though we didn't interact much after that, you told me that you were in my age group. Kindred spirits of a sort. I think there are some intelligent people on this site, and I enjoy reading the Sox forum when I do because I am a Sox fan.

I do understand the frustration of people writing certain things, but at least age explains some of it, but some never outgrow it. That frustrates me more than anything. I hope your leaving is nothing more than a hiatus and you come back to the forums.

In the meantime I will continue to sneak in and read people's posts and learn from some and laugh at others.
