Need to lose. #2 pick is too important to lose on meaningless wins.

Bears can spend the next 10 years trying to beat the Packers. Hopefully with all the DBs out and no pass rush, Rodgers will throw 5 TDs and Fields will score 4.

This is a great thread, from a great poster. Sure, the long term health of the franchise might be suffer, but think of how you'll feel on Monday. You'll be walking into work with a smile on your face, and whistling a tune. It's going to be great until 8:15 when you have a few work fires to put out. You'll hardly even remember it by lunchtime, until Marcy in accounting asks you if you watched the big game yesterday. You'll talk about it, but you forget that Marcy is just using it as a trick to tell you what she did with her cats over the weekend.

But, you'll always remember Dec. 4, 2022.

I'd rather the Bears lose out. A meaningless game between two shitty teams. Losing is more beneficial.

Go Lose Bears!

We can't lose. If we do lose, we keep our very high draft pick for the rebuild. If we win, well, **** Green Bat and Rodgers.

The Bears will be playing to win regardless, otherwise they'd start Peterman.

I think this team will win one more game the rest of this season. If that is the case, you'd want it to happen against the Packers.

History is on the Bears side here. Every new Bears head coach has beaten the Packers at least once in their 1st year with the team, dating back through at least 5 decades (possibly more, I'm just going off what Adam Hoge said on his podcast earlier this season when he brought this up).

It's going to take an enormous amount of good fortune today for Matt Eberflus to keep the streak alive, even with the Packers struggles. This defense can't stop anybody, and I fear this offense is going to take a step back again today without Mooney and Fields returning from his injury.

My concern is that Getsy will overcompensate for all the runs he called two weeks ago with Fields and will keep the offense more traditional, like the way it was earlier in the season. I'd like to see them throw the ball more, but they can't stop running Fields to try and protect him from injury. They just have to stop calling the same run over and over again when the defense has it sniffed out.

Ultimately, I expect a super ugly, double digit loss today. Usually these games start off interesting, and then get progressively worse as the game wears on.

One thing that really annoys me lately is that Fields has been unable to avoid the late game INT's against the Packers. All I ask is for this game not to get embarrassing and for Fields to continue to look special, without any turnovers.

You can't preach H.I.T.S. etc and throw games.
You can if you sit the talented players and have those active doing their H.I.T.S. Chances are they'll lose even with their best effort.
