That would be awesome if Thibodeau could get COY in his 1st year, he will only get it if the bulls win more then 55+ games. Sloan's probably got this one in the bag though.

i think thibs could win it...if the spurs win 60 games tho i think pops should win it...it's pretty amazing how well the spurs are operating with their relative age....it's just a well run team

I believe in giving COTY to someone who greatly improves their team from the previous year. The Bulls will likely have a higher seed in the playoffs this year, but if the Knicks make it, how can you not give it to D'Antoni?

I think a lot of the voters are embarrassed that Jerry Sloan got induction into the hall before he got the Auerbach COTY award. I think this is the year that they make that up to him. Unless the Jazz fall on their ass I expect him to get it.
