July 16th, I think @Freakyfast8 (Fire striker Dominic Oduro) should race him for Chicago's fastest athlete.

Thanks Wrigley for the plug. I think Campy is going to be a great signing for us at the shop

Wrigley vs. Brett in real life

Good luck with the turnout at the shop.

We actually unofficially met each other at the dugout for the Castro signing. I was sitting at a table taking email sign ups while he was in line for the signing

For $20 you can do just that. I don't think you have the guts to do it. I know I don't.

Though funny story. Right before the strike was going to happen, my friend calls me up for a double header. I say yes and we get seats about 10-15 rows up from the Sox circle. While Player Rep Mike LaVallie (sp) is on deck, I yell how awful he is. Now you gotta know that the first game was an afternoon one and no one was there. Few thousand maybe. He had no issues hearing me.

He turned around with an upset face but I folded even before I saw his stache and shut my pie hole.

Whoever is going to pay $20 to see Tony Campana has their priorities messed up  Though I hope that, since it's your shop, you take all those idiots to the bank.

It's actually one of the most affordable autos you can get of an active major league player.

Tony has the hearts of cub fans. He's Augie Ojeda, or Mike Fontenot, or any of the usually one guy a year Cub Fans fall in love with. It's a good thing for the player because he gets every opportunity to succeed without media pressure. It's also good for the fans who find a reason to come out o watch a game, turn on the tv, or buy a Cubs hat.

I'm all for having him at the shop. The only other Cub right now that I would want is Dempster so we can raise money for his charity. I'm not sure another Cub would bring us close to a sellout (not even Castro did that during his rookie campaign for us).

Just so you don't think I am hating, the only guy I would want from the Sox, well there are two: Konerko and Ventura. I don't think another active player is going to come close to a sell out of auto tickets.

Just to be clear, Campana is not a charity event, but the Demspter one would be if we can get a date for him.

That man will never be Augie Ojeda. No one ever will.

Right Campana won't ever be Augie Ojeda since he actually has one skill he is elite in. Unfortunately it is the least important tool but that still is one big difference between him and Augie.

To clarify, Augie Ojeda sucked ass at baseball. I just love him because he's Mexican. Truth.

I have an unnatural amount of hate directed towards Augie Ojeda due no fault of his own. The fact that Don Baylor wanted to keep him as opposed to Miguel Cairo who was a useful bench player for nearly a decade after that decision still pisses me off.
