Several categories of questions.

OK James and Anthony, obvious leap up at the 3 spot but do they want to come here is the biggest question even after do the Bulls want to pay them as much as they want.

But if the Bulls decide to go after them and miss, then what? Wade, Dirk, Duncan, Allen, You just don't want to sign a 12 year veteran, some of them becoming more fragile already, to a big deal because the risk of a slide is too great. That takes you down quite a ways on the list.

Greg Monroe is a solid player but he's not going to turn around a franchise and the Bulls have Noah. Hayward, Stephenson maybe. As it says Evan Turner filling the stat sheet, but many players do in a contract year and then fade.

There's a point on the list around 35 where players might be able get more money from a team than the Bulls would pay but wouldn't add much to it for the price. I mean Spencer Hawes, Bargnani, if they're what you get you're not winning more games.

Yeah its a weak FA class...that's why I'd rather get draft picks instead of cap relief at this point...Hayward and Stephenson would be a good pickup...maybe nick young for scoring off the bench...

Good team's don't want Nick Young. There's a reason, he's one of those empty stat players that doesn't really do a lot to push a team over the top. <-This coming from a person who openly advocated Nick Young to be my #1 target in a prior free-agency. I was wrong.

The 2015 FA class doesn't look that great either. Looks like we'll just have to rely on the draft to improve. And hope Rose doesn't get injured again.

Its usually best to rely on the draft anyways. Most championship teams are built that way. The Miami Heat are pretty much the exception to that, and even so, they drafted Wade, but got the best player in the league through free agency.

Most other top teams in the league their best players were all drafted by them (or acquired in a trade in the draft):
OKC (Durant, Westbrook)
Indiana (George, Hibbert)
San Antonio (Duncan, Parker)
Portland (Aldridge, Lillard)

Free Agent classes like 2000 or 2010 comes around... every 10 years. Its mainly meant to plug some holes a team has.

And its rare that someone like LeBron James is going to switch teams. Him and Shaq are the only top 5 players to go to another team while in their prime via free agency. Grant Hill probably would have been Top 5 if he had stayed healthy, but he didn't so I can't really include him.

I just want to add. The top of the list is loaded with RFAs and non-exercised player options/ETOs.

It depends on how you want to view a few over-the-hill players(Like Dirk), but in reality, Luol Deng is the #1 UFA this summer.

This is certainly a nice free agent class to add solid role players, but with Rose's health issues and not knowing who will be around for next season, that's not going to help our cause. Our only real hope is to be able to move up in the draft and land an impact guy, in hopes we can pair him with a healthy Rose, Butler, Noah, Snell and Gibson. Even then, unless whoever we draft comes in and absolutely explodes onto the scene, we still need that second marquee guy and I'm not sure this free agency class will offer that.

That´s really what scares me the most.

I don´t see any realistic FA out there in the next two years who might help us to get over the top.

And to rely on draft picks isn´t that great of a chance when everybody wants to keep their picks under all circumstances. I don´t see the Bulls getting a top 5 pick in the next couple of years. Not unless we luck out like when we got Derrick.

Rose´s injury really put the team into big trouble because of the time it happened.
