irving is already becoming one of the best closers in the league

it aint by accident..if you have seen him play in high school(and also the jordan game) kyrie can turn it up another notch in the 4th quarter when needed

Yeah pretty much these are the best closers in the league right now. But the 4th quarter performance is not exactly closing games. It should be 4th quarter time when the game is on the line. Durant,Love,Rose and Irving would be by far the best.

And why should he be in the list?lol

Chris Paul is a killer. He can kill you with shooting and passing. The guy is a flat-out play-maker. You can't possibly tell me that he's not clutch because that would be a lie.

Steve Nash, Chris Paul, Derrick Rose are by far the most proven clutch performing PG's in the NBA.

With that said- I really don't like Paul personally. He flops quite a lot like his buddies Wade and LeBron. He's arrogant as all hell. But he has been the hands-down best PG in the NBA until Rose broke out last season.

Tell this to Mr Westbrook.

Lol why so much obsession with Chris Paul? Too much ESPN? Killer my ass. He is a great player not saying the opposite he has some great 4th quarters this year but OK he is slower than the replay when we are during a speed era.

because he's been great in the 4th quarter this year?

In 2 games?Or 3? Come on now. I like CP3 too. Great technique, pure PG skills, great player but he is not the guy with the gun.

And yes.The point is that he has SOME good games this year. The players mentioned in the list have great 4th quarters day in and day out this year.

in recent context(which is what the OP refers to) he's been one of the top performers

career is a different animal, different argument

You need to watch him play more often then. He is definitely the guy with the gun. He puts teams away. Not only this year but he has throughout his career.

Westbrook is no Chris Paul. Westbrook is a poor man's Rose in most ways. Honestly, he is more of an undersized SG than he is a PG.

In recent context DWade is better performer this year than Paul.If I had to put a 6th guy there in the list it would be Wade. Then Westbrook.Then...Paul.

You think that Duncan>Olajuwon and that Iverson is a top 10 player of all-time. You might not only want to reconsider those but also your belief that Westbrook>Paul. None of those are true. Westbrook is not a great passer at all nor does he have a consistent jump-shot or mid-range game. Paul does. And while he is not as fast as Rose or Westbrook, Paul is still very fast and keeps his dribble alive way better.

I am not saying he is not a great player. I have seen him play. But you are right, I find his playing style boring, his team boring too and I haven't watched more than 15 games of them this year. I may be wrong.

Westbrook is no Chris Paul. Westbrook is a poor man's Rose in most ways. Honestly, he is more of an undersized SG than he is a PG.

Man Westbrook is not DRose, you can call him a poor man's Rose or whatever you want but a poor guy's DRose is still a ridiculous player. Westbrook is the 2nd best player right now in the PG possition. And please don't start again with the sub categories PG who is passing better during training and PG who is dribbling better while eating etc. Yes in pure PG skills he is not even close to Nash,Paul,Rose,DWill and Rondo. But as a player in the PG position he is the 2nd best right now.
