It's so rough on that kevin white drafting.... He had 0 signs of being injury prone and was injured every single season with us.....
true, but GMs are judged on the overall success and net benefits from their moves...

take Eddie off that list and add Taylor Gabriel. I think he had a bright future as our slot receiver.

for blunders there are too many to list. Draft? Contracts? Trades?

Take off drafting EJ

add drafting Montgomery.

Blunders are too tough to limit...
E.g. making EJ the highest paid safety in the league.

trading a future pick to move up and grab anthony miller has to be considered one of his top blunders, especially with how often pace hits in the middle of the draft

Trubisky is the big one. Nagy was a fuck-up too, though they've somewhat overcome it. Other than that everything else has been very forgivable if you're being even a little reasonable.

As i've been pounding the table about the past couple years, Pace's best moves are bringing in quality, already known NFL players and/or coaches.

His worst moves are when you need him to make evaluations of what players and/or coaches could become.

At the end of the day, it's about winning playoff games and setting your team up to contend regularly. The Bears do neither of those things. And throwing away addition picks for duds is just the cherry on top. A truly incompetent and worthless boob and he's all ours. How did we get so lucky?

Lmao. Stone hands Gabriel. Couldnt run block and was concussion prone. Seems legit.

I know signing Parkey to a big deal is not a monetarily huge deal but signing him has had a pretty huge domino effect on this organization.

the war was lost for want of a nail

Pace will go down in Hall of Shame as one of most boneheaded GM moves in the history of draft -- trading up against an imaginary competitor to draft a bust QB over two HOF QBs.

Pace has been GM for 6 years

42-54 reg season
0-2 playoffs
2-10 vs Packers
Now, there is a very real prospect of acquiring Andy Dalton to be starting QB in 2021

Not in a forgiving mood, unless things change for the better soon

Trading for Mack was his biggest blunder. Not only was that move too early it really starts to hurt in the next year or two when Mack’s cap hit explodes. Mack has been pedestrian other than his first year in Chicago.

In addition, it was pretty obvious that Mitch wasn’t looking so good early on that those two first rounders could have been used to take another stab at the premium position in the NFL.

  2. Villanova Wildcats
The biggest blunder is him hiring the coach to run the offense he wanted only after drafting the QB.

If it was just done in the opposite order who knows where this team would be.
