Trade Deng and Hinrich for anything.

Then sign LeBron and Bosh or Amare or Boozer.

We NEED to go all out, quit with the playing around bull****. Deng and Hinrich aren't that great, let's be honest.

Do everything you can to sign LeBron, get the coach he wants, give him the money. Then Bosh/Amare will want to come here.

Our starting lineup could be:
PG - Rose
SG - Johnson or Draft pick
SF - LeBron
PF - Amare or Bosh or Boozer
C - Noah

That's a top 5 NBA team.

LeBron isn't leaving Cleveland and what team wants Deng's contract? Amare from what I've heard is leaning toward staying in Phoenix, and Joe Johnson is a choker in the Playoffs and IMO isn't worth a max contract. I'd love for Bosh to be in Chicago though, he and Noah down low would be amazing.

Why wouldn't LeBron leave Cleveland? If he wants a ring, he will leave. Cleveland has no pieces to trade for a superstar or anything. Next year it's going to be : Jamison / LeBron / Williams and that's it. LeBron realizes he has little to no chance to make it to the Eastern Conference Finals with that team let alone win the NBA Championship.

LeBron would have a chance to go play with either Wade or Bosh or heck, even Rose/Bosh/Noah. I don't see him passing that up.

And a lot of teams want Deng/Hinrich. It's just that we wanted too much for them during the trade deadline. Like we trade to land Al Jefferson for Deng instead of just getting rid of him.

I said it in another post...
LeBron
or
Bosh + Johnson.

Anything less may result in a failed off-season.

I think LeBron leaves IF he doesn't get the ship, he wants and needs one.

That is why Boston being up in the series makes me feel like a fat kid in a candy store.

Cleveland looks pretty bad right now, but I'm not ruling them out. There is a reason we all want Lebron. He is capable of single handedly carrying his team through the Eastern conference.

Honestly, we dont need another superstar like Bosh if you have LeBron. If you can find a sucker to take on Dengs contract, use that money wisely and build a DEEP bench. Lakers, Magic, Cleveland, Boston, Utah all are deep teams and it shows in the playoffs(even though Utah got swept). Say your lineup is Rose, Hinrich and/or Anderson/Henry(draft), James, Taj, Noah. Can you name a starting 5 with as much talent? LeBron is the best player in the league, Rose is a top 5 PG, Noah is moving up the C ranks in the NBA and if him and Rose get better(which is pretty much a given).

Which is better? LeBron, Williams and Jamison or Lebron, Rose and Noah? Or LeBron, Eric Snow and Z? This would easily be the most talented team LeBron has played with

If you could move either of their contracts then great but you dont need to get another top tier FA to go with LeBron.

Lebron rumors to Chicago are heating up but I think Bosh will be the Bulls only main addition in the offseason.

Lebron leaving Cleveland is looking more and more likely.

Blame the Bulls front office for giving nice guys like Hinrich and Deng such huge, undeserved contracts. There won't be many, if any teams lining up to take on either of their contracts, unless LA decides to make a move for Fisher's replacement, which would be Hinrich.
I just can't see a situation in which LeBron would re-sign w/Cleveland. If he really wants to win a title, he'll look at who's coming back next season, and pass. I'm still shocked that people keep bringing up the trade for Shaq, saying he was brought in to neutralize Dwight Howard, as if Howard was the one that killed Cleveland in their series last year. And if Moe Williams is "Robin", then I really graduated summa cum laude from Yale.

I agree its all on the FO. they totally overvalued our supposedly young good core.

But i wouldn't say trade them for a bag of potato chips, im sure we can get some value in return for deng. Im not sure about hinrich though.

At this point, Hinrich may have more value than Deng. Both are injury-plagued, but Hinrich has shown he can hit big shots and plays great defense.

See, the only reason i see Deng more valuable than hinrich is because he is a younger player. a good defender at his position.

Hinrich is also good, but his value went down this season due to a bad shooting year for him.

Meh, I don't think either of them are great...I just think Hinrich has more of a role than Deng. However, when Deng is on, he's nearly unstoppable....problem is he's only on 1 outta 5 games. :(
