Hello,
Long time friend of Fred here who insisted that I post this on the forum here for feedback.
Basically consists of 2 trades
#1 Bulls trade Hinrich, Salmons and Tyrus. Bulls get Tmac
Houston trades TMac for Salmons, Big Z and D West
Cleveland trades Big Z and D West for Tyrus and Hinrich
Why Bulls- cap space
Why Houston- get something for Tmac, fills some needs, doesnt take on massive long term salary in the process
Why Clev- desperate for Lebron to stay and field best team possible this year with this upgrade in talent. Chad Ford says Big is #1 most likely to be moved expiring contract

#2. Deng and Pargo to Portland for Outlaw, Blake and Webster
Why Bulls- Cap space and Webster can hit the three swinging from sg and sf
Why Portland- Win in talent, Outlaw and Blake #8,9 most likely to be traded expiring deal per Chad Ford

Aftermath for Bulls
1. Rose(36), Blake(12)
2. McGrady(32), Webster(16)
3 Webster(20), Outlaw(28) JJ, Jwilliams
4. Noah (16) Gibson (28) JJ (4)
5. Miller (28) Noah (20)

Going into the summer we have Rose, Noah, Webster, Gibson, JJ under contract. With estimated cap holds for 1st rnd pick and roster spots we have $20.6 mil with cap space of 33mil with an estimated cap of 53.6million for next year. Basically enough for 2 max free agents. Webster can swing between 2-3 and is a shooter. Sign Bish and Wade or LeBron- they will come if we can sign 2 max free agents and have the core noted above. Still have first round pick to add a shooter or backup center. I know you say I am dreaming but think of it from the stars point of view-major market and what team could offer a better long term dynasty then this team?

1. Rose
2. Wade
3 Webster
4.Bosh
5. Noah
+ likely lottery pick, Gibson, JJ
Immediate title favorites for the next ten years so why wouldnt they come? Give me one reason. Put this on your show and discuss why they would come to this core. They key is to have a good core with 2 max free agents. Being in the lottery doesnt matter. The celtics did it by trade from a shitty team but we would be younger and better

Edit to consider to add a #1 and Gray to Houston to waive Big Z and go back to Clev

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  2. Golden State Warriors
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
Well Hinrich is probably better than their backup PG whoever that is (Kyle Lowry?) and he could probably give Brooks a run for his money. Brooks is more of a scoring PG and Hinrich is more of the traditional PG. It's not like he wouldn't fit with their current set of players.

brooks scored like 40 pts the other night. the guy is their pg. hes a great scorer, an they dont really need a hinrich like player with ariza and battier on the roster. hinrich wont give brooks a run for his money, the rockets think of him as a franchise player. they traded rafer alston to open up a spot for brooks. i can see them wanting to get a 2 guard or a 4, but i dont see them wanting a pg/sf. they seem to have filled that position.

plus hinrich is playing decently as a starter. i'm hoping he ups his value, so we can trade him from a 2 this season. or skerw it. lets just keep him.

Houston does not need Hinrich...they have a group of scoring wing players already...all at a cheaper rate. Brooks is a better PG than Hinrich...

I don't think Lebron would be very impressed with Tyrus and Hinrich...especially after losing one of his favorite teammates...nor do I think they put him over the top...

I don't think management is actively trying to trade kirk, especially after he is starting to pick up his play. The golden boy is here to stay.

Interesting in theory but $20.8mill is not going to net you 2 max FA's, especially when the top tier are all looking at $15-20mill per. That would be enough for 1 & maybe a mid-level.

If you dump Webster and the first round pick you could do it. So its not a bad idea if anyone else in the deal would do it(doubtful).

What I want to know is why Cleveland wants to help us try to steal LeBron from them. I think they'd be the last team in the league looking to help a team get max cap space.

They have the second best record in the league, I don't see how they desperately need talent.

They have the second best record in the league because they have the best player in the league. They really need to trade Big Z for someone like Jamison to help take the pressure off of Bron.

I thought Z was LeBron's best buddy, not sure the Cavs will want to risk trading him with LeBron up for an extension at the end of the year.

You are right Big Z and Lebron are close...these type of relationships have to be taken into consideration when making these trades. Trading Big Z essentially for Tyrus and Hinrich is going to get Lebron upset enough to leave...

To everyone who says why would Cleveland trade Big Z,hes LeBron's buddy, things to consider- Chad Ford just had an article saying he is the MOST likely expiring contract to get moved at the deadline. Also if it were a deal breaker in discussions throw in the number 1 pick to Houston and have them waive big Z to return to Cleve.
Secondly for those who say it would not be enough for 2 max- while we dont know the exact cap figure yet it is damn damn close. Everything I have seen predicticted lately is the cap will be about 53 mil so in this senario we have 33mil - 17 mil should be a starting max contract so I doubt 2 guys would blow the deal over 500,000 grand. Between endorsements and the fact we would win another 6 titles...these guys have people around them who are not that dumb.

Add a number 1 to Houston, Gray if they need it too so Cleve waives Big Z and I cant see who doesnt do the deal. Clev gets Hinrich and Tyrus basically for West, Houston gets a possible Lottery pick, Salmons, West,Gray for Disgruntled McGrady. Who doesnt do this and why?
