Trading the noted players could easily obtain a first round pick, a second round pick, 2 third round picks, and a 4th round pick. Bears have one of the worst offensive lines in football and Herbert still averaged better yards per carry than Montgomery. Poles wants to build through the draft. Trade these guys and you have:

1st round: 1 pick
2nd round: 2 picks
3rd round: 3 picks
4th round: 1 pick
5th round: 2 picks
6th round: 1 pick

Chicago has the oldest roster in the NFL. It’s time to change that.

You need a solid run game too. Monty goes nowhere imo. Its good to have TWO solid RBs these days.

You must be younger, as remember what happened when everyone said get rid of Jones, Benson can handle it back in 2007? Well, Benson couldn't. Not on the Bears anyways.

NO! I keep seeing people around the WEB wondering if MACK will be able to translate to a 4-3 DE.

He already has proven his salt as a 10+ Sack 4-3 DE out in Oakland.

Outside of last season, Quinns best seasons in the NFL were with his hand in the dirt as a 4-3 DE.

Matt Nagy didnt use Montgomery nearly as much as he should have and he still produced top tier.

No I don't want to trade those players.

The Bears are essentially a True MIKE LB and SS away from having a legitimate roster for a 4-3 Tampa 2.

I continue to stand by my belief that talent was/is not the main issue with this team, nearly as much as having a VINDICTIVE MORON HACK HC who was never a playcalling OC nor did he even have his own real offensr to bring over to Chicago from KC.

This ownership has been working overtime to hide that they were dumb enough to hire a useless hack with no real coaching talent at all.

Unfortunately for this ownership multiple players and former players are starting to talk and its all spilling out to the public.

Yes, this ownership made a coffee fetching ass kisser a multi millionaire and HC.

Until or unless proven otherwise with the new staff, I continue to stand by that Matt Nagy, & not a lack of raw talent was by far the biggest detriment to this team not playing to its peak.

Bears defense is on the verge of being great, assuming another corner gets drafted.

Stop trying to trade what could be 25+ sacks away and one of the most underrated running backs in the league.

10/10 meatballism in this thread. Why ever post "trade this guy" or "don't trade this guy"?

Each player contract is an asset, some with positive value, some negative, and some neutral. The issue is their performance relative to cost (contract), and if you can get greater value in trade return then do it, otherwise don't. Any other take is just fan-boy shite.

Be smarter Bears Bruhs!

Only way i trade monty is if bears have zero interest in resigning him. Outside of that I would mind seeing what we could get for quinn. But if you trade mack you lose cap. Bad show.

LOL @ thinking Monty would bring back anywhere near that value. If they can get a 1st round pick for him, the Bears would be idiots NOT to trade him.

Robert Quinn could get a 2nd & 3rd
Mack could get a 2nd & 3rd
Montgomery could get a 4th OR 5th

Draft picks are great but you still need players to fill positions. I’m all for moving Mack OR Quinn. Not both.

I’d rather move Montgomery next season, after the Bears address the offensive line and Fields takes a step forward with the offense.

You aren’t getting a first round pick for any of these guys. Probably not even a second round pick.

Exactly…..it’s fun to fantasize about getting picks that will never materialize. It’s a wonder why some of these posters aren’t running NFL teams

LOL!

Too many Bears fans over value Bears players.
Well at least one of them do. Lol
