How the **** did she still have the job after she fell asleep once already? If this hadn't been at 2:30 A.M., so many people could have died. I've walked up and down those stairs and escalators so many times when there was like 20-40 people on them at the same time. That could have been tragic. Thankfully no one got seriously hurt this time.

Same. I thought these cars had automatic braking(which also are known to fail because the sensors aren't ever going to be perfect).

Yeah the article says the automatic stopping system was, well, trying to stop the train.

Dumbass conductor had already been reprimanded recently for falling asleep and passing a station.

About a year and a half ago I was reading my book on the bus and we were approaching Grand and Chicago pretty fast. Next thing I know the bus's right wheels have gone up on the curb and part of a street-sign pole is sticking through the window about inches from my head. I should have sued those *******.

you would have needed to head but the sign to show some minor injury to go with your mental trauma

that's why I didn't bother. But it still pissed me off. We have bus drivers crashing into houses all the time here, lol
