Generally speaking, most of training camp is in the south for obvious Chicago winter related reasons, lately Ave Maria, Florida. Your best bet is to keep an eye on the Fire Facebook page. They are usually pretty good at keeping updated with team news and public practices, etc.

The team will be reporting to Toyota Park for medicals next Wednesday, January 18 before departing for...

Ave Maria, FL (Jan. 20-Feb. 3): Fire Return to Ave Maria | Chicago Fire
New Orleans, LA (Feb. 4-5): Fire face Real España | Chicago Fire
a third leg that will be announced soon...
Charleston, SC (Feb 25-March 4): Fire to Participate in 2012 Carolina Challenge Cup | Chicago Fire

If anyone is interested in going to any of these trips, you can check out the section 8 chicago facebook and/or forums and see if there is anyone else that is planning on going. Also, remember that google is your friend for generic travel/location questions.

I had plans to go to both New Orleans and South Carolina, but those plans fell through, unfortunately. Just as well, I'm sure I really couldn't afford it anyways.
