I just got an email from ticketmaster saying the Training Camp Festival is Saturday, September 18th. Tickets go on sale tomorrow.

No announcement on the Hawks main page yet, but I assume there will be one soon.

Season Ticket Holders should automatically get free tickets. It's not like you don't already pay for pre season bullshit games that don't fucking count.

Pretty sure we didn't last year. The year before we did. Tickets were only $5 though.

Anybody get tickets for this? Ticketmaster says they're on sale, but when I tried to purchase them, no tickets are available. I can't imagine this already sold out. I remember they had a glitch like this a few years ago -- the first year they had a training camp festival -- Ticketmaster had them onsale before the organization wanted them to be -- before they even announced anything about it actually.

And STH's should have been among the first groups with whom the Cup was shared, instead of an afterthought. But what do STH's matter? Now, go pay your invoice.

It wasn't even an afterthought. They have done absolutely NOTHING for the season ticket holders OTHER than raise the price of admission.

And I'll pay it on the 22nd the day before it's due.

Well, it's an afterthought in the sense that after I wrote to McDonough about it, my ticket rep called me to say that they are working on putting something together. So, it seems they will eventually have something for the STH's with the Cup. But it sure wasn't one of their first thoughts, was it?

Well I suppose had I known you sent an email I might have understood the "afterthought".

Again all they give a shit about is we pay our bills. We Won the Cup.

I confirmed w/ my ticket rep that this was a TM gaffe. They should not have put these on sale this morning and they have now taken the posting down. Hawks will send an email before tickets go on sale.
