I hope Jay is prepared to have a guy constantly in his ear and who is constantly critiquing his every move on film, in practice, and on Sundays. This isn't Mike Tice, you can't walk away from him without repercussions. There's a new sheriff in town and Jay has to play the role of the deputy.

Cutler wants to be coached, he wants direction, he wants to get better. He has a similar personality to myself, I was also a QB Al Bundy style, my old friends even make fun of me and call me walmart Cutler. People like him and I, we are extremely opinionated, we shut down easily, but paired with the right personalities we respond and follow and flourish. Didn't happen to me in football but it did in my career which is also a competitive environment (no I am not a salesman).

This may sound very stupid to people and it is just an educated guess on my part but my money is on Cutler having one of the better years of his career.
