So I just bought my condo in February, a few days after my Colts lost in the Superbowl. This is my first Halloween here. My condo is a duplex, and it is on a little cul-da-sac. The street is well lit and a few of my neighbors (who I barely know considering I work over night at FedEx and rarely get to see the people) have kids. I passed up on a few parties tonight, so that I wouldn't be the new douchebag who didn't give out candy, and dressed up scary to hand out candy to the kids. I put decorations (fake pumpkin and a big ass fake spider by my door) so that people would know I was home. BUT................

I didn't get a single knock on the door. Not one.

I am pissed. I bought all this freaking candy, I skipped a Halloween party that would have been filled with 20 something slutty hotties and I didn't get a single mofo at my door. F this shit.

/rant

Anyways...... how were your guys trick-r-treaters?

we had 11 trick-or-treaters...not bad considering we moved into our new house last weekend...some we knew, some we didn't...We didn't buy much candy, anticipating a poor-outing...so we did okay...

You shoulda went to the party, holmes...

Fact! I bought killer candy.... considering the amount of kids I see waiting for the school bus when I get home from work and messing around in the neighborhood. Oh well. FedEx has a thing where they send all the unused Halloween candy over to our troops. They will get everything but my Reese's.

I guess my house had only like 6. I just went trick r treating with these chicks I knew who are only a couple years younger and even though I'm 18 I said screw it,its better than staying at home and not doing anything(I didnt really dress up,I just wore my Boozer jersey so I went as Carlos Boozer....but without the broken hand). So when we were trick r treating their was this old drunk guy with his kid on halloween. He would say a whole bunch of random stuff when all of us and his kid went to a door when he was chillen on the sidewalk what looked like to be a beer in his hand. Well I recorded it and just watch from the :50 second mark and listen since their isnt anything in the beginning. He starts barking and meowing and this other weird stuff. It was too funny. We had over 350 pieces of candy and were out just over half way through trick or treating.

I hate it so much we live close enough to the ghetto that instead of going to their own neighborhood they just come to ours. Its non stop kids and its really annoying half of them don't even bother to try for a costume just put on a jersey or some shorts or something.

I think its our last time doing halloween.

Yeah when we went we went to some homes that just left a sign that said not home happy halloween. I guess you could just do that lol.

Yeah their isnt many people near my house anymore. All of us have grown up and are in our late teens. Theirs some little kids but not many. Like I said my parents said there were about 6. Idk it just seems like people dont decorate or anything as much for Halloween anymore either, plus it didnt even seem like Halloween. They barely show any horror movies on tv anymore and that for me just makes it suck.

We had 270 kids, down from the usual 400. My neighbor didn't do his usual decorating this year which is why we were down.
