And it's aimed right at me. Hopefully the predictions are correct and it is a small, weak, fast moving storm.

We can use the rain though.

I will hope that it brings some needed moisture to your area but does not develop into anything serious. Take care.

While I wish you no ill will and safety for you and yours, I hope it dumps a shit ton of rain on you and all of Texas and Oklahoma and all those states that haven't had measurable rain in while. You guys need lots of rain. Hopefully that will also help break down that heat dome as well.

St. Louis could use some of that rain too! Please send it up here when you are done with it.

Hey sailor, you've been at sea a little too long. Are you trying to get a Section 8 or whatever it was Klinger was after?

Where is this damn thing heading? I usually dont give a shit until cat 4 and 5s. Florida had 3 cat 3s go through and it reminded me of a windy day in Chicago

Gulf coast of Texas, near Corpus Christi. Probably won't reach Hurricane strength. I still spent the evening bringing in everything into the garage and shed and mowed the lawn.

It's supposed to bring like 50 MPH winds... hardly anything to be concerned about. We get storms like that a couple times a year in Chicago.

Now it looks like it will be South of Corpus Christi. Your probably right.

You need a few tropical storms and/or hurricanes to break the drought down there.

Absolutely. That storm literally left a few sprinkles, lik it was spitting on us.
