Not really old news - this is the first time he's admitted he is seriously considering it. In the past he was asked about it and always said he had no interest. Hard to argue with a billionaire - he's doing something right. And I like his tough approach - I feel we need that in America again. You won't see Trump taking an apology tour around the world.

But he knows how to run a business, and hence knows what the economy needs. Having no law or political background may be a good thing - gives fresh blood to Washington. Look where we are now - we elected someone based on giving good speeches and promising hope which is nice but doesn't mean a whole lot.

There's more to running a country than economics. Try international relations. Would he know how to handle our military presence abroad? What if South and North Korea are in full out war come his potential election. Does he know how to handle that? Doubt it. I'm no fan of Sarah Palin but I would much rather have her running our country as opposed to Donald Trump.

Not saying I want us to get involved, I was assuming we would get involved considering China would likely get involved in that situation therefore we would have to. And yes, America is essentially the police of the world(see Iraq, Afghanistan).



Just saying I would rather have someone with political experience running this country over some CEO with a finance degree.
