I think I would ditch Morel. I can get another guy with a lessor glove but a much improved bat.

I know Gordo can't hit. I do think a few months in the minors would fix things. That said, his glove is elite so even if he never hits until we get a decent glove guy that can hit like a Ray Durham, I am ok with Bacon.

see im not like cubs fans where i get excited for a win and forget the rest of the whole picture. when you lose 2 out 3 to the royals, and you are in a weak division where you are only 2.5 out and you dont make any changes, you fail in the big picture. some fans like to hold onto hope over 1 win i refuse to do this until they correct the situation

These losses will come back to bite the Sox in the ass down the stretch. You've gotta capitalize and win the games that you're supposed to, especially against a weaker division foe like Kansas City.

The farm is weak, but again, it's not. Guys like Sale, Ramirez, Morel, Beckham, De Aza, all came from there. Do we promote way too quickly? Probably do. Right now not much we can do with the minors except to slowly build it up and not dump even our best prospects which I admit right now isn't that great and let them develop internally.

Though if we keep signing FA and trade our "prospects" for proven talent I guess I don't really care how awful the system is.
