I am looking to see this and I was wondering if anyone has a link? Or maybe someone recorded on the DVR and could rip it for me??? The one where he says he could be better than CP3/LeBron/etc.

It sounded hilarious to hear about a "bespectacled Tyrus Thomas." That was what I read somewhere else. Thanks...

I don't have a link to the interview, and I had the volume down when it was on, so I actually didn't hear it either.

However, Tyrus in glasses looked hilarious. I don't know if he needs glasses, but they looked like they were a prop to make him look more introspective just because I've never seen him in them before.

As a side note, can you shoot me an email via the contact form on the front page, I wanted to talk to you about your podcast.

He basically said "I wanna be one of those guys mentioned with Kobe, LeBron, Chris Paul, and I know its gonna take work"

Thanks c.s., i read what he said, but I want to SEE it. Obviously im a huge Tyrus fan but it just sounds funny, seeing Tyrus sitting down on national TV and doing an interview in glasses!

I think its good that he wants to be as good as CP3 and LeBron and I hope he keeps working hard to get there, but he is never going to be as good as them.

Hopefully it wasn't just him trying to say the right thing and he really does want to be mentioned in that same group. It sounds like he is going to continue to work really hard. I expect to see a 16/10/2.5 guy next season, unless we trade him of course.

He worked really hard this past offseason. I think he's figured it out. When you're surrounded by workout warriors in Ben Gordon, Derrick Rose, Kirk Hinrich (except for that one summer he got married), Luol Deng, that that gets these guys amped to workout.

Right now on the season, Thomas is averaging 10.8 PPG 6.4 RPG 1.9 BPG. Those are some solid numbers. Finally, Thomas has something tangible, in his statistics, to show for his hard work. Now with something to show for his hard work, he probably believes in working harder more, and is getting amped to grow even further.

I would still include both Noah and Thomas in a trade for Chris Bosh or Amare Stoudemire, but if we can't make such a trade, Thomas/Noah give you good reason to be excited for our front court going forward.

Why is everyone harping on about this interview as though Tyrus was interviewed on 60 minutes or something?

It was basically a fluff interview that showed nothing new, and if anything was answers given to him by his agent.

If we were to go forward with Noah and Tyrus, expect a least another 2 years of inconsistent and unreliable play by the both of them. Both can be really good in spurts, but they just aren't consistent and reliable enough to depend on throughout an entire season.

So I was dicking around waiting to get off work browsing PC manufacturers websites since I havent been to one in eons. I was on Dells website. LOL You have to pay a fucking premium fee if you want North America based phone tech support, essentially $100 bucks a year. I would laugh if it was still indians, they just live here.

Yes, that would be quite funny. "So your name isn't really John, is it?"

I do tech support and I am sometimes at my wits end when I have to deal with a foreigner on the phone. I have nothing against them, but when I am trying to diagnose a difficult situation, it sure helps when I can understand wtf the other person is saying and visa versa. I have at times jsut been honest and said 'I can't understand a word you say, can you get me someone else?'

I deal with this on a daily basis, I HATE being on phone conferences with indians because I have a hard time understanding them. For some reason its fine in person, but on the phone, I am constantly saying "Can you repeat that". There were times I have given up, and just say "yeah" in the hopes that answers whatever they were trying to spit out.
