So it appears CCS has gotten too big for it's britches. The hosting plan I had us on was set to run out in November. Luckily, the hosting company I intend to move us to will give us a credit for whatever our remaining balance is on the old host up to $50.00 (about 2 months of hosting) so that is a plus.

If you were looking to become a donator to CCS, or you appreciate the site we have up....please throw in on this with us. You'll get full donator benefits and forever be in our good graces :)

The plan we intend to move to is more expensive then the one we're currently on so that means we will never see downtime, experience slow loads, etc.

If anybody does decide to donate, please PM me and let me know so I can get you hooked up. If you've already donated and want to chip in, we'll set a special award up for you guys.

The plan we're on right now is pretty shitty. I am surprised we've lasted this long on it to be 100% honest. We're on a 7.95/month plan from GreenGeeks.com

Has it gotten the job done? Somewhat, however having the site go down often early in the morning, it being SLOW all day today, I don't want to have to put up with that and I am sure you guys don't want to either.

I am looking into the vB pro plan on vBulletin Forum Hosting, WordPress Hosting, phpBB, Unix, IPB, PHP5, Managed Forum Hosting, Web Hosting which is the #1 vBulletin message board host out there. It's $24.95 a month, but by moving to their host they'll handle the move 100% and give us a $50 credit. It appears a year worth = $300. With the discount that is around $250. Im putting up $100 of my own money to this.

This plan also means that we're paying extra but we'll have no hassles...back-ups are created every hour (I take sitewide back-ups every 3-5 days), and it'll be 200x faster then the host we're on now.

Around 150, between the 115+ people that sign on daily, this shouldn't be difficult to raise. In the past many people have PMed me about donating but I've turned them away because we didn't need any donations. This is a time when I won't turn anybody away ;)

I may be able to contribute a little bit. Will probably give it in someone else's name to give them donator benefits...

I'll tell ya what. I've got a set of golf clubs I'm going to win on eBay...I've got a specific dollar amount in mind, and however much the clubs cost me less than that #...the difference will be my donation. If I get outbid or get them at the cost I have in mind anyway, I'll still donate enough to give a lucky poster donator benefits at least. Sound ok?

That's perfectly fine, if you've already donated, and you donate again you can make somebody who isn't currently a donator....a donator.

I don't want anybody going all out on donations, I think if a handful of people just chip in a couple bucks, should get to it easily.

My wife bought something a few months ago that she used 3 times and hasn't touched since...I've saved the same amount of $$$ for the golf clubs. If the clubs go for what I think they will, I could probably donate $25 or so.

Of course, that means the clubs will got for $20+ higher than I expect...so you can safely expect $5 from me.
