They have the Bears with the worst record in the league at 3-13.

NFC NORTH

Packers (12-4): They open on road against hated Bears before hosting Seahawks at home in NFC title game rematch. Two big games to wash bile from last season out of the collective palate while potentially mapping route to top seed.

Vikings (10-6): Highly motivated Adrian Peterson should take offense and second-year QB Teddy Bridgewater to new level, and potentially stacked defense looks ready to blossom. Schedule gets friendly after Week 5 bye.

Lions (7-9): Last year's No. 1 run defense sees Adrian Peterson (twice), Marshawn Lynch, Matt Forte, Jamaal Charles in first half minus Ndamukong Suh. We'll know then how badly franchise erred (or didn't) by letting all-pro walk.

Bears (3-13): Defense will look almost entirely different in terms of personnel and scheme. They can only hope QB Jay Cutler looks entirely different from 2014 version under new coaching staff.

There really is no pressure on the Bears. Everyone thinks they are going to suck including half of the fan base.

I remember when Sports Illustrated had us going 2-14 before the 2005 season. I couldn't understand how everyone thought we would be so bad then, and I can't now either. I really can't see them regressing 2 games from last year.

Sounds about right if they are serious about Shea being our starting MLB. We won't stop anyone's run game combined with one of worst defensive backfields in the league.

I feel like the majority of the fan base thinks the Bears will be middle of the pack... the bad locker room is gone, thus guys can more live up to the their potential, coaching will be leagues better.. that itself should result in a few more wins. What the Bears still lack is known talent and any stars really. They still have Cutler who will do Cutler things and then there's the always unknown injuries. I'd say there are some fans who do think we'll be awful, and I really have yet to see anyone who realistically believes we'll be good this year.

I say 8-8. There will be players who surprise us and turn out to be good. There will be some that just fall on their face. The NFL is so fluid, it's hard to be confident in predictions before the year. Too many variables.

I'm willing to bet we finish with a better record that 3-13. Prolly more like 13-3. That and I got a bet with a couple buddies that if the Bears beat the packers opening day we have to grow mustaches. lol thats a pretty big bet for me since I have had a beard for like 12 years now.

Look at the schedule and tell me where are the wins the Bears are going to notch. The schedule is brutal and does this team no favors whatsoever. Teams Bears are going to be automatic underdogs to come play at Soldier Field, teams the Bears would be close favorites or evenly matchup with the Bears are on the road against meaning that likely shifts to them being underdogs.

The Lions and Vikings no longer have dysfunctional coaching staffs the Bears can tee off on and those teams have better talent across their rosters. If the Lions fall off a bit that would add one win likely at home whereas I see the Bears being swept by the Vikings.

I could see wins against the Raiders and Bucs but only if Carr and Jameis are worse than advertised.

Please please stop using logic, common sense, and realism to base your arguments. This is CCS where half-thought-out, dimwitted, homeristic, emotional posts are not only the norm, but the requirement.

Thank you.

The Bears have the 13th hardest SOS this year based on last years teams records.

Don't care what the SOS says, show me the teams you think the Bears are going to beat.

I wonder if Fox will bring in that Lovie-Bears magic, pretty much every year they got mocked & expected to be bad they were good, every year they were thought to be good for sure 07/09/11 they were failures. Though there was some slips in the consistency like technically the 11 team was doing well until awful backup QB play ruined it & 06 they were expected to be good and were.
