Here, select one 1st Baseman from each league that you think is the best. Pretty straight forward. If you do not have a favorite of the ones listed, choose "other" and post who and why.

This post will be for 1b of the National League.
Thanks guys.

This shouldnt even be close. Pujols is a top 10 player of all time and will be prolly top 3 by the time its said and done.

Pujols is more talented, but Votto is playing great. Last year and into this year, I'd take him. Pujols is money-hungry...kind of like A-Rod. Votto produces for less money.

Biased opinion says Pujols. Even in this slump he's in, there's not a more feared hitter in the game. He won't be in this slump much longer, and he's a Gold Glove 1st Baseman, too.

Since this is for right now I am going Votto. You can't go wrong with Votto or Pujols.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Minnesota United FC
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Notre Dame Fighting Irish
Fielder, guy plays 160 games a year, and isn't letting his contract become an issue like Pujols.

Votto is the correct choice here.

Equal wRC+, better wOBA, better fielder since the beginning of 2009. Plus younger. Votto and I wouldn't even think about looking back.

This should be one hell of a debate between Pujols and Votto. My vote goes to Votto and the reason is because he's had one heck of a year last year and up to date to make me feel that he is much deserving to be the best NL 1st baseman.
