Allen will play the Justin Smith DE role on nickel. Nobody is really realizing this.
Both are built the same, Allen is younger.

Pretty sure most everyone always assumed Allen would line up at DE in the 4-2-5 package. But no, Allen and Smith are not built the same; Smith is two inches shorter and 15+ pounds heavier...he's just a much more solidly built dude. Not to mention that SF moved him inside to DT for their nickle as often as not, so they really won't be playing the same role either.

Fangio is the bomb...too bad we'll be lucky to keep this coaching staff together past this season, cause he's probably gona be a top HC candidate again soon, and when Gase becomes the first OC to get the something respectable outa Cutler he's easily gona nab HC job, probably next year.

The good thing about Fox is that other top OCs and DCs will see the success rate of coordinators getting promoted and want to come here too. Fangio has been successful for years. I'm not sure why he isn't a HC already.

I'm sure most of the d-linemen will be moved around some cause that's what Fangio likes to do with his guys. I'm excited to get the season going and see how the players play with some legit coaching especially the guys that were already here. It will be nice to see how much more he can get out of the holdovers than the old staff did.
