I will say this... the fact that Nashville is number 2 on the powerplay says a lot about how the Hawks powerplay is run.

Yeah Nashville has the best point man in the league but nobody can argue that any combination of their front 3 should be more effective than what the Hawks can roll out there.

Really amazing. I figured they would do their usual 6th/7th thanks to Lundqvist and that's all. A lot of guys are stepping up big time for them.

Hard work from top to bottom, strong defense and the best goalie in the game.

Pretty much the anti-Hawks at this point.

Still haven't decided if I'm going to stay home and watch the game or hit up a show at Lincoln Hall. I'm leaning towards the game just because I'm lazy.

Some very strange part of me is thinking the Hawks will pull it off tonight. Although I'm 99% sure it's just because I'm all geeked about the potential of landing Nash.

I wonder if the Nash talk made its way to the Hawks and if it did- what kind of effect would it have on them tonight. Excitement?

**** it, I'm watchin the game.

Patrick Sharp - Jonathan Toews - Patrick Kane
Andrew Brunette - Marcus Kruger - Marian Hossa
John Scott - Dave Bolland - Viktor Stalberg
Jamal Mayers - Brendan Morrison - Andrew Shaw

Duncan Keith - Dylan Olsen
Sean O'Donnell - Brent Seabrook
Nick Leddy - Sami Lepisto

Ray Emery

That is a weird projected lineup.

You know with those lines (2 dinged up guys on the "top" line ... 2 puds and Hossa on the 2nd line, Scott playing on the 3rd line?

Morrison who really doesn't need to be on the team...

Yeh that will work - looks like another 3-1 or 3-0 game to me... no offense -as the other team just needs to key on the first line... shut them down -and the rest of the Hawks look like no scoring threat whatsoever.

(Of course Quenneville sticks with lines like some baseball managers keep fiddling with batting orders- and with about the same result -- at this point 'fine tuning' as a rationale is a joke.). . .so who knows how long that lasts.

Right on!!! John Scott at forward!!! But on the 3rd line? Wtf?

He's teamed up with Bolland and VS? Does this mean his line goes up against Nashville's top line--granted their top isn't as elite as other teams--but really?

It's gotta be bogus mind games.

Edit: If not, that line MUST be nicknamed the "Tortoise and the Hare" line.
