Alright, fellas. I had my procedure done last Monday. I wore the jockstrap for one day and felt pretty good afterwards. Until I went to work on Friday night. It was hell. It was so bad I took Saturday night off and then I worked Sunday night with a jockstrap back on. That seemed to help.

The past two days I've had pain in my left testicle kind of shooting upwards into my groin/belly. Is this normal? Has anyone else experienced pain over a week later? Also the ball sack appears to be bruised still as well. I don't want to be a ***** and run back to the doctor and I certainly don't want to have to drop my drawers again so I'm waiting it out. If anybody has any experience with this please let me know.

Did the doctors not give you any guidance on what kinds of pains you may have?

Yes, but it's stretching out a bit longer than prescribed, thus the worry. Just like my sack.

Idk man, I'm still in tact so take what I say with a grain of salt. My dad had the procedure done on a Thursday, took friday off work and was fully recovered by Monday. Never said anything else about it. Shooting pain sounds no bueno, imo. Don't you have like a follow up visit?

I had my done by Vasectomy Clinics of Chicago. No scaple, no needle. It was so easy. I had two Valiums and they sprayed me two or three times with a liquid pain killer. The first one was extremely minor, no feel for the rest. He used a tool that was like a pen and did the snipping and cauterizing. I went to the movies right after. No ice, no support. Just no bath for two days and a change of gauze once or twice a day. Amount of pain...ZERO. I missed zero time off of work. I've had flu shots that hurt more.

So if I was in your shoes...I'm hitting the office up right away. Could not care less what people think.

2 quick questions here.
Why in the world would you get a flu shot? And what is a religious, by the holy book, guy doing getting a vasectomy?

I will never understand why anyone would attempt to perform any sort of surgical procedure on themselves unless they were a medical doctor which I will assume you are not as no self respecting M.D. would visit a messageboard of a sports site to get this sort of question answered. And additionally a procedure such as this one i would not comprehend would be able to be performed even by a doctor on themselves. Hope the best for you and wish you well but I would advice against doing this over if you find the first one to be unsuccessful and would recommend you seek professional treatment for your current ailment. Full disclosure, I am not a medical practitioner and do not work in the medical field.

Your attempts to pepper your vocabulary with words of the day and structure sentences in a manner your lack of education perceives as how an intelligent person writes is completely undone by your typos, misuse of words, and lack of reading comprehension.

This sentence seals it- And additionally a procedure such as this one i would not comprehend would be able to be performed even by a doctor on themselves.

Your usage of comprehend is improper- the proper usage of "comprehend" would be- You didn't comprehend a word of the OP's post, because he clearly states he had the procedure done.

Dumbass.

What is it about this kid that gets everybody so worked up? When the message board used to go off on maniacs like Nick or Jim Johnson, those guys were dicks looking for a fight. VashalasX is neither from what I've read, am I missing something, really? I know he's a fool, but he's not hurting anybody, he seems really nice, goofy but not mean spirited.

He reminds me of a young Rick Perry, goofy but harmless. Now he's in charge of nukes, so that's why I said a young version, pre-nukes.

Since you asked, it's because it's all an act. He's just trying to get a rise out of people. And in a thread started by a guy in real pain looking for help, it's probably not the right place for his character acting.

I'm with 51. I don't mind his posts even though they are all satire and its him just spewing BS. Some of it is funny. Similar to Aussie, he just wants to have his on 'brand' own a forum for whatever reason. I'm sure it's someone's alt.

I don't care if he is really a 500 pound Samoan woman catfishing us. He's not hurting anyone and he gets a bizarre amount of shit, it really is weird the anger this guy is hit with. I'm just trying to figure where all the rage comes from.

The worst thing the little sprite has caused me is some moderate head scratching, nothing worth a dislike.

Some good info to know for when we're finished with the human larvae...

Someone I work with had this done about a year ago. He can definitely handle pain/discomfort and tried avoiding pain killers as much as possible. I don't know if he bruised, there's not a chance in hell I was going to inspect that. He took a long weekend off of work and had to slow to a crawl during work(we have a cush union job but was still more productive than some other slugs we work with). It took him a few weeks to get back to normal but still had the occasional pain that knifed through his body. We climb at an indoor rock gym too and he had to take at least a month off of that.

It doesn't sound like you're experiencing anything other than the usual horrific side effects of the procedure.
