Making burger like patties from black beans is a great idea that people from all walks of life appreciate, but they went overboard with a lot of this premade garbage.
Vegan corn dogs
Vegan bacon
Vegan beef stroganoff
Wasn't the whole point of going vegan NOT to eat that shit???
I get the sense Corporate America is happy to produce as many skews of product that will sell under a label and don't give a **** about healthy products.
Its a fundamental problem we have in our thinking IMO.
Same kinda problem as Youtube recommending too many conspiracy theories.
Well if a user clicks on lots of different conspiracy theories, and the only way to keep them is to recommend more and more skews of conspiracy theory, then Youtube and its content-creators will keep producing skews of conspiracy theory which monetize well.
Corporate America is going to keep making skews of bullshit until we indicate, with our wallets, that we don't want quantity of skews, we want quality.
Part of quality is consistency.
Products need to be medium quality with high consistency, made efficiently and sustainably, that should be the affordable mass-market target.
If those Products begin at a lower quality which improves over time while consistency, efficiency, and sustainability remain high, that's acceptable.
Producing lots of low quality skews for short-term profits is a recipe for long-term financial collapse.
The moment you must sacrifice the quality of your business in order to expand it, you should recognize this and opt for sustainability and efficiency gains while maintaining a medium quality.
Living off expansion and growth alone is another recipe for long-term financial collapse.
TL;DR: Stop financing the pipe dreams of morons and just build businesses gradually.
