What the **** is wrong with people in fantasy sports? I understand that there is no limit to moves you can make in a week but you're two games back it's week 11 and I'm undefeated, so you have to be a mega ****** and add 4 starters each day to try to win? It's fucking pathetic. I have 20 moves all season while he has 70! I have the second most in the goddamn league. I'm sorry I don't have 4 pitchers I'm willing to drop so that I can add random guys to try to get as many bullshit points as I can. Seriously, what happened to playing fantasy sports with some sort of fucking dignity????

I cannot relate 100% cause I don't do fantasy baseball, but I limit moves in my fantasy football leagues for this very reason.... I had a couple guys one year who were adding and dropping like crazy and one of them won the league doing it.... I leave the limit at a reasonable level so people can make moves where they need to but if you try to miss the draft, rebuild your team with all FAs and then pickup 4 new people a week you will be stuck with your roster at some point cause you were an idiot.

The add/drop spam is a problem in every fantasy sport that supports it. I make limits in basketball as well to prevent that. It's annoying as heck...especially if they're super cheap and add/drop all the good players so that they're on waivers so that you can't pick up anyone. That...is a true dick move.

He picked up 4 pitchers yesterday, and 4 today, all were or are pitching on the day of being picked up. It's fucking ridiculous. It's not a paid league thankfully, just a BS one I joined, but I've never seen anyone go about being this big of a ******. All the leagues I've played in there either is a limit on moves in a week, usually 7 or 8 tops, or people make a few moves a week. I should be winning for having a good pitching staff not down 95 points because he spams pitchers every day. 20 moves <70 moves and I have the most among everyone else.

If those are the rules, he's better at playing them. I always look for any advantage I can take when playing fantasy sports. It can back fire too, but it can also pull in lots of championships or at least playoff appearances.

Any bafoon can have 5 good pitchers and have a bunch of expendables, I can't drop anyone on my pitching staff since they're all so good. My worst pitcher is Dan Haren or Ervin Santana for Christ sake

If the rules are set up like that, then so be it IMO.

I applaud the guy for trying to take you out :D

Football is different than baseball, though.

I am happy to say I wouldn't know. Anyway, I was responding to this:
Well...I don't mean to say that adding and dropping in and of itself is a bad thing. Obviously, strategic adds/drops can swing a matchup or even a whole season. It's when you're abusing the system to screw your opponent over. My example was just adding/dropping players so that they would go on waivers so the opponent can't pick anyone up. That's abusing the system imo. This is why when I manage a league I always put a limit on those.

In FF, if it's late in the season and I can make a move to screw an opponent that is trying for the same playoff spot. You better damn bet I'll make that move and please slap me when I don't!

If my opponent in FB is undefeated and I can do a bunch WW moves to beat him, you bet I would do that all week long if I could!

Why you say, "cause you play to win the game" * in my best Herm impersonation.

I guess that's like saying if you're playing basketball or soccer and you could flop to get someone ejected from the game, you'd do it every time xD

No, fantasy sports is not the same as actual sport. Really bad comparison IMO.
