Doubt you'll see either of them benched for a long time. Not with the salaries they've got. No matter how terrible they are at the moment.

Ozzie's not going to play a rookie ahead of Rios & Dunn, especially with grindy vets Lillibridge & Vizquel hitting well off the bench, and Teahen almost ready to return.
Better to leave him in AAA than to bench him in MLB.

I hear you mo, it is just depressing to think we will be watching Rios and Dunn fighting the Mendoza line on Labour Day.
