(Not looking to sell it here, but I mean if someone was interested) Just trying to see if $150 is a fair price for the bundle below, or if I am lowballing myself or being unrealistic. Please note I have already posted this add and gotten several replies, of people wanting me to call them, I added "or best offer" to the add, no one quoted me a price other than one who said $100, which in my opinion is a lowball. I dont want to be unfair, but, I am not going to be a chump just to sell it quickly, i will drag it out. I figure I can get an honest answer here.

So I had a guy that was going to buy my broken PS3 for 150 (just the system itself). but he backed out. I am not in desperate need of the money or anything (I went out and bought a new ps3 the day it broke afterall).

I bundled it up with some games/accessories I no longer use/play (that would end up collecting dust not being worth anything to me anymore anyhow).

Local repair shops will fix the issue my PS3 has for about 80-100 bucks depending on the place (stopped reading discs).

so here is what i am selling in a bundle. My initial thought was 150 for everything. The only thing I can gauge real value on are RDR, AC2 and the two controllers. Considering both of those games are still 50 bucks new, both of the controllers would be 50 bucks new(one controller is new never used or opened in original packaging). I figure discounting them to 20 bucks a piece thats $80, that leaves 70 dollars for essentially the system, and three games that might not really be worth it to anyone (SF4 is outdated too, considering Super SF4 is out). I mean the ultimate question is this, if this bundle included a working PS3, is it worth about 230-250. because that would be the buyers out of pocket cost for everything after paying the repair. As an FYI a brand new ps3 that just comes with a controller is $300.

a PS3 that doesnt read discs

Games:

NHL10

NHL09

(these NHL games arent really included in the price, im more just giving them away, i doubt Id get shit for them for resale anywhere, being out of date and all)

Street Fighter 4

Red Dead Redemption

Assassins Creed 2

Star Wars the Force Unleashed

Accessories

power cable/vga connector

1 Sixaxis controller (plus usb charger cable)

1 Hori 6 face button fighting game controller wired (brand new in box)

here's the rub and I went through this with the Xboxs, how much are broken PS3s selling for and how much are fixed PS3s selling for. Trust me it matters. I was once upon a time going to buy broke xboxs and then repair them and resell them until i learned there's next to no money in it. Shame too.

Another thought is try to repair the PS3 (probably needs a new laser, plenty of sites to tell you how to fix them)

But just off the top of my head I think 150 is way too much. I mean for another 100 you can get a brand new one that works and has a warranty. Sure you don't get the goodies but a fat lotta good the goodies will do if it can't read the games.

On CL there are people offering to buy broke PS3's for 60-100 bucks (depending on the issue). So I kind of based my price on that, plus the stuff. I mean right now ive got 10 messages from people in my inbox interested in the bundle, one who quoted me 100, and a few people wondering if im just interested in selling the games. So there are people that are interested, and as I said one guy was going to buy the system alone for 150 but he was the only responder and ultimately backed out.

Obviously I dont believe any buyer would be an end user. there are enough people looking for games, systems and broke systems, that im pretty sure everyone that sent me a mail(aside from people just interested int he games) intend to resell the stuff to turn a profit, most likely piece meal, which is fine with me, i dont have the patience or attention span to sell 20 different things. I am sure if I wanted to I could easily sell all of the games and both controllers all individually and make 100 bucks.

If you are getting hits that's great but my very limited experience with Craigslist tells me people really aren't that interested but dude if you can sell it for 150 go for. Would I pay it? No. I'd offer you 50.00 for it and it would be an insulting number.

I wouldn't give you $150 for a used broken PS3. I could care less what gemaes/accessories came with it.

Resale value/trade in value for most games/game systems tends to be shitty to begin with, add that it's broken and IMO its worth nada.

I wouldn't pay $150 for a used repaired PS3/Xbox 360. It's just not worth it, especially if it's one of the older models. Chances are it's going in the shitter in a few months anyways with the same or another problem.

Were i an end user no i wouldnt pay it either. But there are people on CL buying up used broke systems fixing them and reselling them. I got a guy offering 130 and one willing to pay the 150, so im good.

As I said I doubt thee guys want to buy this stuff to use it, I am sure they intend on reselling it.
