Hello, Chicagoans! For the first time I'll be visiting the Windy City over July 4 weekend. I plan to catch a ballgame at US Cellular and Wrigley Field and see fireworks over Lake Michigan. I am staying near the Loop so I am close to Mass Transit.

I wanted to pick your brains and see what you all felt was the best deep dish pizza, best steak house, best blues bars and best watering holes and any other tips/advice you might have.

I'm pumped for this trip and I want to make sure I do it right and who would know better but the local sports fans?

Thanks in advance!

BTW, I apologize if this is placed in the wrong forum, it wouldn't allow me to post in the "other" section since I am new here.

Lou's is good for pizza. Also try Portillos or Al's Italian Beef... Check out the Shedd, Willis (Sears) Tower, Mich. Ave. Lot's of things to do..
