Right now, Rose and Noah should make it. Rose as starter and Noah comes off the bench.

Lets play the "put together the shittiest team possible from the all-star ballots" game:

East:
Mario Chalmers
Richard Hamilton
Linas Kleiza
J.J. Hickson
Nazr Mohammed

West:
Derek Fisher
Corey Brewer
Trevor Ariza
Hedo Turkoglu
Robin Lopez

Would either of these teams put up a double digit win total for the season?

Here are the players that I voted for, and why:

allstarpicks_2010_11.jpg

West C - Emeka Okafor:
Look at that list of other players on the ballot, and try and tell me that one of those other guys has played better than 'Meka so far...

West 2 F's - Kevin Durant and Grant Hill:
Carmelo is a lock anyway, and I want to see KD get the most votes for this position (not likely). The other player I voted for was just a filler. So I chose Grant Hill because he is my favorite player.

West 2 G's - Chris Paul and Deron Williams:
I definitely say they deserve it more than Russell Westbrook and Steve Nash (unfortunately, a likely starter). Other guys worthy of consideration are, obviously Kobe Bryant (a lock - who I am never going to vote for), Manu Ginobili, and Tony Parker. But I honestly believe these two PG's are the best right now in the NBA (even ahead of Rose and Rondo).

East C - Joakim Noah:
A homer-pick. Dwight Howard deserved it more, but I'd love to see Noah get some respect.

East 2 F's - Luol Deng and Kevin Garnett:
My reason for voting for the nasty KG is because he's nasty good. And I do NOT want to see Bosh get the start. Or Stoudemire. I voted for Deng as a homer/filler-pick. I also considered voting for Danny Granger and Carlos Boozer.

East 2 G's - Dwyane Wade and Derrick Rose:
I would love to see D-Wade get more votes than LeBron. And he used to be one of my favorite players... still is... but he's fallen off. I just don't want to see a guy like Vince Carter or Gilbert Arenas get in again. I also don't want Rajon Rondo or Ray Allen to make it either. Rose and Wade are both the most deserving.

**Write-in option** - Tyson Chandler: Former Bull... just for the hell of it. I still like him, and the Mavs' certainly feel his presence out there, now that they finally have a true center (actually two - including Haywood).
