Wade is a fantastic player. Let's not pretend like we know what he is thinking. If we land Wade, that completely screws Miami over and we get an undisputed top 4 player in the NBA - filling our void at 2 guard. What could be better for Rose to develop as a player than to sign Wade? Nothing.

I thought about this long and hard before.

Wade in Miami would be a lock for fan loyalty and favoritism. Just like many have said, LeBron would be a 2nd fiddle.
If Dwyane Wade joins LeBron James on a team other than Miami and Cleveland, then you eliminate the fan view and much of the league view on circumstances behind success.

We, as fans, analysts abroad, see Wade as leading this alliance of free agents. In reality, LeBron has as much say and pull to ALSO persuade Wade.

If I were Wade, and I knew the Heat were going to strike out in Free Agency, then I would become the caboose!
