Ever part of an old message board called Fans First?

It was a pretty good place to hang out with a loads of fans of various teams from around the NFL.

It also had a fair number of Bears fans including two who ran it. There was even the infamous 'Duds47' who posted there who went on to become omelette pants on the old cbmb and anyone remember MOUSE? Yeah he was there too.

Best thing about that place was how it went under ...

Just curious if any of you folks ever frequented there or knew about it. My gosh those were the days.

  1. Los Angeles Lakers
  2. Orlando Magic
  3. Phoenix Suns
  4. Sacramento Kings
  1. Columbus Blue Jackets
I was never Duds47 or anyone else. I have never used another name on any forum. So stop being a dicklicker

I remember the poster named Mouse on the old cbmb. Don't remember duds or fans first.

MOUSE was on both. He used to run quite a few pieces on scouting (not that they were all that good) That place was a lot like this, but with less alt accounts (jokes) and about the same amount of trolls. Supra used to post there and on cbmb too. Not sure if he made it over here.

It was run by NATAS and Homer. Those two fell out in a big way though. Thing is with the large contingient of Bears fans there I wondered if there were any carry overs.

I think Vash was there.

Also, I wondered if anyone remembers Hordak ...

Lastly - Natas, someone must know what he REALLY did and why he sold the board in the end.

Were you there then? I bet you were.

I'm guessing that you weren't Homer and that you weren't pissed at Natas for sleeping with your wife.

I can honestly say I never heard of the forum. Actually it's disappointing tgat not that many sites really exist in certain subcultures.
There's only like a couple decent sites per team.
And sometimes not even one. You would think on the Web more people would try.
It's hard to find a site that doesn't take itself too seriously.
I was banned from a Rams site for posting a stat of their losing record over a decade while a rams game was on. The guy said no actual fan would do that while a game was on and banned me from clanram.
Supposedly this guy was a lawyer or accountant who ran the site. How freaking stupid can you be?
I have little cpu knowledge but I would like to start my own multi team forum and invite people who both like and even hate sports to just have fun and go at it....within reason. There's a cut off point but some can't handle the slightest differences.

You should do it. You never know who you might get posting there.

To be honest I miss that place, it was really a great enviroment and basically just a bunch of guys talking sports and shooting the shit most days. I guess it was like CCS before all of us fucktards arrived and ruined it.
