After watching the carousel of guys in the 90s followed by the catastrophic breakdown of the grossman/orton era, followed up by cutler, My bar is pretty fucking low.
Mitch wasnt much of anything, but even that mundane piece of nothing was tolerable.
I am totally serious when I say I would be satisfied with a 5-6 year stretch of decent, meltdown free play at the QB position.
How sad is that?

Mitch was a good teammate and model citizen. Fields tho, he is the full package. What qb comes out and says he dreams of being a franchise qb? The real deal boys. 10 year run upcoming.

yes, good drafts. Phil Emery sucked in free agency, sucked drafting and made cutler the first 100+ million qb, setting the qb paygrade market.
