What kind of watches do you guys wear? Do you spend extra moolah on a nice watch or just a cheap one? Also I have an issue, I cannot wear a classy watch with a clasp, if it can get past my hand it's very loose on my wrist, and if it is going to be snug on my wrist, it won't get past my hand, is there anything I can do that can fix this issue? I can't exactly make my wrists bigger or my hands smaller obviously.

I have owned 3 Rolexes: Presidential, Submariner, Date Just. Sold them all. Felt self conscious wearing them in front of friends and customers. Now I wear no watch.

I'm not a watch person, but I am a nerd with hipster qualities. Sometimes I wear old nelsonic watches(I have a zelda and super mario world one). Sometimes I wear a casio calculator watch, which comes in handy OFTEN.

I'm a watch guy. I find that a fossil watch can be tasteful and not overdone, and won't destroy the bank roll from your summer job, plus they have several different options as fat as bands go. If nothing else, go to a fossil store and tell a sales person you're not sure what you want. They'll get your price range and load you with options.

My current watch is a $8 from Amazon. Black band, black face, keeps the time well. There's another thread I made a while back about watches...I'll find it sometime.

Sent from my phone...in my pocket...with my mind.

Best watch I ever had was a giveaway at a WhiteSox game. Lasted 13+ years and time did not need adjusting outside of DST

I am in agreement with this. I think it can be a little tacky to wear a watch that is nicer than your boss' watch. I only get my nice watches out for extremely formal occasions.

I'm not sure what solution there is to my problem of not being able to get it past my hand unless it is far to loose for my wrist.

I used to be a big watch guy..I have several..A Rolex(garbage)..Movado (nice), Tag Heuer (nice), and a few of the reissue Hamiltons (nice). I also bought two Tommy Bahama watches that havent come out of the box..I dont know why I bought em.. I havent worn any of them in like 7 years now..I have a cheap watch I got from Orvis that I wear every day around the house, but thats about it. Fancy watches have become ostentatious IMO, and I've noticed that when I see some guy with a high end watch he fits a certain personality type. It embarrasses me to think I was once like that

You can always get link or two taken out to make the watch fit.

Tried, if it gets by my hand it was very loose on my wrist, if we take links out to make it snug, it doesn't get by my hand.
