This. I worked retail for 28 years. I am surprised more people don't snap when they are dealing with the general public daily. The old retail saying is 10% of any population are assholes.

I'm 32 years old and have been working in retail since I was 12. The old saying "the customer is always right" has never been true for me. The only people I ever tolerate shit from are my consistent customers. Everyone else that decides to randomly be an asshole to me for no reason gets the fucking horns from me. I am not a punching bag to take people's shit. I routinely tell people to **** off and get out of my stores if they become disrespectful.

Good for you, there is nothing worse than watching some entry level flunky working for a faceless corporation get shit on by some random **** that is venting because he is impotent and powerless the rest of the day.
Guys takes crap all day, the wife, the boss, then goes off on a waitress / clerk, anyone that is forced for financial reasons to take it. It's great to see a manager/owner or anyone stand up to one of these sad angry fucks.

Most retail workers who "stand up" to the problem customers will not have a job for very long. I love seeing vids where employees fight back, but they are usually fired no matter if they were right or not.
