I think the waterpik is supposed to supplement traditional flossing and brushing. At least, that's what my dentist tells me.

It removes 50% more plaque than traditional flossing. Eat a meal and then use a waterpark and see the bits that go running down the drain, it's remarkable.

Yeah, I use a waterpik, but I don't think you're supposed to stop flossing altogether. Personally, I liked the upgrade from a traditional toothbrush to an electric toothbrush. That's a massive upgrade.

I understand, it's worked well for me so far. My teeth and mouth have never felt so clean.

supplements brushing, but not traditional flossing. It could be used as an alternative to traditional flossing. At least that's what my wife tells me.
