I guess the schedule makes sense, there's some funky off days in there where you have off days surrounding two-game sets. I have no idea why the Sox are playing the Mets four times :shrug: They really cram the Tigers down the Sox's throats in the last three months though.

Is anyone here still a little paranoid about the Royals? They essentially knocked us out of the playoffs last year while also beating up on the Tigers, they are one or two moves away from being a good team IMO. Not that we shouldnt be worried about the Tigers first, but I'm just looking at the big picture.

The Royals are okay... Which makes them about an average team, compared to their past.

And yes, they killed us down the stretch but as you mentioned, they also beat up on the Tigers as well, so they didn't knock us out of the playoffs. The Tigers kicking the shit out of us, plus our offense falling flat at the end of the year is what knocked us out of the playoffs.

Well the point of my post above was to point out that this could very well be a three team race next season. I know people have been saying this for like two seasons now, but the Royals will be scary.
