I kept thinking that the offense had to be able to figure out something they could do to get out of their funk, but it just never happened last year.

That is why as a Bears fan you have to go into a season cautiously optimistic but expect the worst. Last year was brutal to deal with. They got the #1 QB people wanted and gave him weapons like DJ, Allen, Odunze, Kmet, and Swift. Well, of course Poles doesn't know anything about the trenches and that flaw along with complete inept coaching ruined the season.

BJ and new coaches along with Poles being in panic mode in the trenches signing 5 new players gives renewed enthusiasm. More pain incoming this season just like all the others? Time will tell.
