Why not work out a 3 team deal with the Lakers and Magic to land Bynum here? A lot of you guys are better with these 3 team trades than I am so I'll leave this up to you but what would a trade look like landing Bynum in Chicago while keeping Deng?

There's a pretty good chance his career will be over well before Noah's. I do not want. Too many health concerns and not many teams want to take his contract on. He's already becoming very grounded and showing signs of lost movement and speed, at 24 years of age. He'll have his moments, but that's about it.

He has his injury issues and he wont have a long career but he's a lot better than Noah is and Noah doesnt exactly have a great health history either. We'd be better right now with him than Noah. But obviously he wouldnt be the only player involved in the deal.

I like Bynum. He is a very skilled big in the post which is hard to come by in todays NBA. Just his injury history scares me. Knee injuries derail careers and he has two bad knees.

Bynum:
18 points, 15 boards, 2 blocks pg this season.

Noah:
7 points, 8 boards, 1 block pg this season.

Bynum's the better player, and more valuable of the two. Not sure how he'd fit on the Bulls tho. Noah fits so well b/c he is (or at least use to be) athletic.

Dude's gotta get in shape and pull his head all the way outta his ass tho.

Do you really think its a shape thing? From what ive seen, he doesnt look out of shape, not physically at least. He's gone coast to coast pretty effectively.

I was reading an article today that cited his stamina and his lack of passion/fire as the reasons he's struggled. Lack of passion bothers me a lot more than lack of stamina...

Dr. Buss is in love with Bynum he isnt trading the guy unless it is for Howard. I have even heard that he doesnt want to trade him for Howard either.

Who cares? If Bynum is the better player (check), better than any player in your frontcourt (check) and most likely would play ahead of Asik in the fourth (check)...then he would be a better option.

The Bulls are contenders now...who cares if Bynum is playing in 5 years?

I think a lot of people will CARE in 5 years.....
Especially when Bynum will probably be in street clothes 70 % of the time through the years.
Just sayin :dunno:

Maybe we care that he might not play in the post season, this year? His history is all about it.

I think we're overlooking the fact that Noah's health status hasn't been exactly stellar.

A lot of people want to win now. 5 years from now can take care of itself. Here and now the Bulls can win a title. And the Heat don't have an answer for Bynum...

Win now with Bynum and we get a title before the Heat. I'm down with that. :woot:

However, no way Lakers are trading Bynum for anyone save Dwight Howard.

Clone, Read the original post. 3 team trade. Howard gets his dream and goes to LA, Bulls get Bynum and Orl gets something in return in Noah and of course you're throwing in picks and players and so are the Lakers.

Completely agree with hou on this. 5 years from now doesn't matter. Well it does but not with Bynum. You'll still have Rose who will still be in his prime and because of that, you'll always have a contender and I'm sure they'll always add pieces around him. Plus 5 years from now Wade is in his mid 30s. The super team may not re-up.

Win while you can now. Get real difference makers in here and out with the overpaid guys who are riding the bench late in games.
