We saw what happens when Nagy takes the play calling over
Playing not to lose accomplishes the oppositethe play calling and game plan was actually what kept the score as close as it was for as long as it was.
When you play a HOF QB playing at MVP level the goal is to keep him off the field for as long as possible which is what they did. they simply didn’t have the horses.Playing not to lose accomplishes the opposite
Until the red zonethe play calling and game plan was actually what kept the score as close as it was for as long as it was.
They didn't score TD's ..so all they did by keeping Rodgers off the field was to shorten the gameWhen you play a HOF QB playing at MVP level the goal is to keep him off the field for as long as possible which is what they did. they simply didn’t have the horses.
if i’m going to criticize coaching in the red zone it’s the decision to kick those FGs. but i also understand why they don’t trust mitch there. he’s been throwing RZ picks since he came off the bench.Until the red zone
yes that was the goal. the more changes you give rodgers the more he scores, something they cannot afford to do.They didn't score TD's ..so all they did by keeping Rodgers off the field was to shorten the game
well, he scored 4 TD's, and Bears scored 1...so that game plan didnt workyes that was the goal. the more changes you give rodgers the more he scores, something they cannot afford to do.
yeah that’s because the D literally couldn’t muster a single stop before HT. i’m speaking of the offensive coaching at the moment.well, he scored 4 TD's, and Bears scored 1...so that game plan didnt work

Thanks for making my point...Bears scored 1 measly TDyeah that’s the D literally couldn’t muster a single stop before HT. i’m speaking of the offensive coaching at the moment.
I agree. I was actually shocked.
The bears actually figured out a template to beat Green Bay.
The problem is there is a talent differential and they had to be perfect in order to execute it.
The Bears weren't perfect.

don’t you think the fact that they shortened the game might be the reason rodgers only scored 4 TDs? i mean jesus christ did you see how easy it was for him? Thanks for making my point...Bears scored 1 measly TD
