Playing not to lose accomplishes the opposite
When you play a HOF QB playing at MVP level the goal is to keep him off the field for as long as possible which is what they did. they simply didn’t have the horses.

Play calling was fine with a terribly inaccurate QB. Nagy still should go though.

Until the red zone
if i’m going to criticize coaching in the red zone it’s the decision to kick those FGs. but i also understand why they don’t trust mitch there. he’s been throwing RZ picks since he came off the bench.

Not much you can do with a QB who can’t throw an accurate pass beyond 10 yards.

Mitch in the red zone is even worse because then he feels like he has to score a TD if drops back to pass, which is what leads to throws like that INT against the jags and the one to ARob that should’ve been picked off today

They didn't score TD's ..so all they did by keeping Rodgers off the field was to shorten the game
yes that was the goal. the more changes you give rodgers the more he scores, something they cannot afford to do.

well, he scored 4 TD's, and Bears scored 1...so that game plan didnt work
yeah that’s because the D literally couldn’t muster a single stop before HT. i’m speaking of the offensive coaching at the moment.

the play calling and game plan was actually what kept the score as close as it was for as long as it was.

I agree. I was actually shocked.

The bears actually figured out a template to beat Green Bay.

The problem is there is a talent differential and they had to be perfect in order to execute it.

The Bears weren't perfect.

Agreed, it wasn't a bad gameplan, they just didn't have the defense anymore to beat them.

If this was 2018 bears D we win this game.

Thanks for making my point...Bears scored 1 measly TD
don’t you think the fact that they shortened the game might be the reason rodgers only scored 4 TDs? i mean jesus christ did you see how easy it was for him?
