So, the Girls Scouts were selling cookies at the local Jewel this morning. I drove my car up and rolled down the window. The mother was busy with other customers so I motioned the little girl over with my finger. But she froze and wouldn't move. It wasnt until I said I wanted 5 boxes of thin mints did the horror leave her face

I missed the "Music City Miracle" because I thought the game was over, answered the door and bought Girl Scout Cookies. It was worth it.

My daughter was a Girl Scout, so I was that dad standing in the sidewalk while she went to door, after door, after door in the freezing cold. I wanted to just buy the cookies, wife says this is a learning moment, our kid needs to understand responsibility. So why was I the parent trudging across the tundra mile after mile? Because wives.
