What´s wrong with James Johnson?

So four games have been played this season and after those games there is one big question I really don´t know the answer for:

Why is James Johnson playing that less?

James Johnson only played 11 minutes in this season and I think these 11 minutes were in that Boston game, when the Bulls were down by about 30 points.

Taj Gibson played 19 minutes per game and even started one.

I really don´t have a problem with Taj starting when Thomas is out, but why doesn´t Johnson get a chance?

I mean Johnson was drafted 10 picks earlier than Taj but he doesn´t play. Plus you can play Johnson at the PF AND SF spot. Taj can only play at PF. So Johnson normally should get some minutes on both spots.

Does anybody know a reason for JJ not playing? Did something happen in practice or what?

I think Johnson looked pretty good during the preseason and I would like to see him getting more game time.

Vinny can't coach. Last time he kept taking Rose out of the game and no rhythm was developed. He sub too much last night.

Johnson is too heavy to defend on the perimeter and is a step slow on offense in the half court game. I would like to think his skills are more suit for the power forward position, but in summer league and preseason he hasn't really played the position. So at this point, if he's going to be a perimeter player, Johnson will have to get in shape and work on jumpshot and perimeter defense.

speaking of vinny not coaching... what the hell is up with our offense. rose walks up the court and immediately passes the ball to a SF or Sg. then he waits around until they pass back. This system seems peculiar and orientated for a salmons/gordon lineup. we need to change the offense. Rose needs to penetrate more often and find a way to create.

And here we had the next game with James Johnson not playing a single second. I don´t like that.
