"they" have already developed ai that can make informed decisions about shoot to kill autonomously. Their robots cant drive humvees yet though. I know this because i got family members that are contractors, and its declassified, but progress is scary and rapid. Whats scarier is how ill prepared the most advanced militarycentric country is for domestic attack...
