He's athletic and can fill it up from 3. He's kind of a knucklehead. In fact, we've had him already once and traded him. But the way this team is taking shape might be an option. He makes 6 million and has one year left.

What do you think?

George Karl has done wonders for JR. In the end, I don't think he would be just as good here, let alone as effective as we need him to be.

This has been floated on the board before...personally not a fan. He can win a game for you, but his shot selection is terrible and he acts like he's still a punk in high-school. We got Korver and maybe Redick to shoot the three and they don't need 15 shots a game...let's keep it that way.

The only thing is that he can fill it up from 3 and he's athletic enough to play defense against starting 2s.

I agree that he's a knucklehead but he also kills two birds with one stone.

But at the end of the day, if he costs us games by taking 3's from 8 ft behind the arc when the plan was a rose drive and dish to Korver, he's not an asset. Like I said, he can win games, but he loses just as many.

I want no part of J.R. Smith. I understand how talented he is and how well he complements Rose. But at the end of the day... no. He takes horrible shots... much like Antoine Walker and Nate Robinson.

There's a reason we traded this guy for Howard Eisley and draft picks.

JR is a selfish, cancerous player. No thanks.
