I was thinking about this today when I was eating one of my favorite summer foods melons. I love all the summer fruits, but biting into ice cold cantaloupe, honeydew or watermelon is just so refreshing. And who doesn't love corn on the cob? Yum. I drink mostly water, but in the summer I love to use fresh limes and lemons to create drinks.

So what do you guys look forward to.

I like hot dogs and nachos at the ball park. I love corn on the cob too. I also like to get soft serve ice cream a couple times during the summer.

I love any thing on the grill with fresh tomatoes, jalapenoes, onions, chopped up on the side with an occasional slice of avocado. Pretty much all of the great produce that is fresh in the summer. Also I can't forget to mention raspberries, blueberries, peaches so sweet that when you bite into them the juices are dripping ....yum

Do you like nectarines too? I buy them and peaches both. They are one of my favorite fruits. I love to buy peach nectar and make peach smoothies with the nectar and the fruit. If you freeze the peaches or buy frozen ones you don't have to use ice and it doesn't get watered down. It is delightful.

I think I am a bit exempt from this debate, even in the winter you can grill in Florida. you are standing on top of the grill for heat but you can still cook out there.

Burgers and steak though are my favorites.

BBQ ice cream sounds awesome. Where do I get some?

Try the Udder Delight Icecream House in Delaware.

Actually deep fried ice cream is probably better and any Mexican restaurant worth going to should have it on the menu.

A friend of mine recent went to Trader Joe's and bought some Chile Mango popsicles thinking the word "Chile" meant in fact "Chilly" despite all visual clues to the contrary. Her son complained that his tongue felt like it was on fire. I know this isn't the best place to ask but have any adults here tried these?
