At a Manchester United board (Redcafe) im part of, they have 100 members, and 600 guests at most times. Its always very busy. But the forums over there are always much cleaner and much more neat than anything we have here. Especially the Bears forums. We have already started, kind of.

What they do, knowing they will always have the crazy fucking traffic, is just make player threads. Single threads for ever player and all that talk goes in there. I saw we did it with Jay, much needed and it will be for the better. Everything is centralized. Marshall, Webb, Urlacher, all in their own threads.

Just wanted to throw this out there, now with the merger and the numbers we seem to have. We have people starting useless threads every 10 minutes about relatively the same shit.

The problem with an active board is, the front page of topics changes very quickly. You can't expect somebody to use the Earl Bennett thread when it's on the 5th page. Nobody is realistically going to go searching for it.

Best thing to do is just move/merge stuff as it fits.

I know exactly what you mean. Just thought I would bring it up. Nobody over there seems to have any issues with searching for a thread when its necessary to find one. (Also because its what they are told to do ;))

Every player past and present have their own thread. No worries, its just gettin frustrating when a new thread pops up here now about the same topic.

Thanks for listenin fellas.
