I'll start. I have bitten my nails all my life, until recently. It's a disgusting habit, I should be ashamed, and I am ashamed, although I only ever did it privately (as opposed to fellow wage-slaves who clip their nails and/or use dental picks on the train/bus or in their cubicles/offices).
I evolved belatedly to using nail clippers about a month ago, and cannot master it for the life of me. I either only half-clip the nail or I go too deep and bleed profusely. The curvature never results in as smooth a cut as I used to have when biting them myself.
For ****'s sake, I used to be able to have my butterfly knife from back pocket to sharp and in hand in 2 seconds. This shouldn't be that hard.
I envy people who can use nail clippers effectively. What do you envy?
