What do you think about that smack that Boozer gave to Lebron last night?

Aside from the fact that some of you likely relished in Carl smacking another player, particularly Lebron, what do you think about that actual play of defense and what do you think about the call itself (other than the fact it was an obvious foul, but to what extent - a flagrant 1?)?

Keep in mind, at that point in time is when the Heat made the turnaround and picked up steam for the comeback. Carl seems to have not only helped motivate Bosh to come up with big nights, but his smack last night may have had a little play in getting the Heat riled up just enough to turn it on. Carl's writing checks his ass can't cash, seems to me.

Flagrant 1 wasn't a terrible call. Seemed like Boozer was trying to send a message with a hard fould and at first it looked as though Boozer was going to go for the ball. IMO it looked as though Lebron was going to try and go to a bit of an up and under layup in mid air and get around Boozers arm as if Lebrons arms stayed where they were when he took off Boozer catched LeBron across the arms.

They ruled it was a flagrant and that's nto a terrible call IMO, neitehr would have been to just keep it a hard foul.

Yeah, I agree that it could have reasonably gone either way. Boozer's defense can be a problem in situations like that because he's so statuesque with not enough movement. Many times as we saw in this series his lack of defensive movement in the paint results in obvious fouls.

Looked like a real smack in the face, compared to the phantom one that Lebron sold earlier in the game. Too bad it seemed to ignite the Heat at the time.

I don't think it was a good play.

Carlos is an idiot. He runs his mouth and never backs it up. We are paying this guy $80 Million to watch the game in the 4th.

Who cares we were already out of the series anyways

Weren't you the one literally just complaining about Lebron quitting in the last Cavs game and here you are saying none of this mattered because the Bulls were already going to get knocked out?

It was deserving of James. Booz wanted to wipe the tears from his face after all the times he plead his "case" this series.
