what else would you like rose to do?

he's improved his defense. his shot is going down. he's got a 3. In the celtics game we saw rose play with reckless abandonment for his own health by getting to the line ever 3rd second. he's rebounding very well for a pg. he's been blocking shots lately.

what else would you like to see rose do?

i guess draw more contact? ***** at refs more?

could rose develop a post up game? he's a bigger pg. he's strong. i'm not sure if the amount of defensive pressure he faces would allow him to play efficiently in the post as a 6'3 guard. plus he's already getting double teamed, does he need to get into the post to force a double team?

Well, I'd like to see him make use of his teamates better off the doubleteam, and get them involved. He made one hell of an effort with Asik yesterday, but Asik doesn't use the restricted area all that great. Other than that, he hasn't been a whole lot to use the doubleteam to the whole TEAM's advantage.

Pass the ball! 28 shots a game is ridiculous. The post above me hit the nail on the head. He draws the double very well, but doens't kick it out often. Hiscircus shots is what he throws up with 30% of them going in the basket.

Because he has capable scorers around him that don't brick open shots (Deng, Bogans), fumble passes (Asik, Deng), and pass up shots at the rim (Brewer)

Be more decisive. If he's going to ISO do it quickly so if there's not an opening he can back out and they have time to run a play instead.

I don't like when PG's throw up a lot of shots either, I know he is doing it now because Boozer is out but when the Bulls are healthy I want to see him utilize his teammates more and help make the players around him better, he doesn't have to try and do EVERYTHING, he does have help, don't start listening to the MVP talk or none of that STUFF and start going out and try to score a ton of points everything night just to stay in the MVP race


Rose is having a great season though and more importantly HIS TEAM IS WINNING!

Make game winners more consistently? I know you can't make them all, but the Houston one's all I can remember (it might be the only one...I'm not sure xD). On top of that, I'd like to see higher assist numbers, but that's not all on him. His passes off double teams aren't completely his fault either. The other guys need to make themselves available. But really, there isn't a whole lot more you can ask of him other than to become a PG version of Michael Jordan.

He does pass the ball more than he gets credit for. He can't help it if Asik or Deng bobbles the ball, Bogans bricks wide open shots or Brewer for some strange reason passes up open shots at the rim and throws the ball back out.

His assist numbers are directly affected by these things.

IMO the selfish thing for Rose to do would be to try to get assists the last few games and protect his own stats. He's the clearly the best scorer on the team with Boozer out, he has to take shots even if that means he puts up ugly shooting percentages.
